Camp Kindness
2024 Camp Kindness Dates & Information
Camp Kindness is an educational camp designed for children ages 7-9, 10-12, and 13-15 interested in learning about animal welfare and becoming future pet owners. During our camp sessions, children learn about proper pet care, pet safety, pet interaction and how these topics relate to the Sacramento community. Some examples of camp activities include shelter pet socialization, dog body language lesson, crafting, and educational presentations from different Sacramento SPCA departments and outside organizations.

Feral/Community Cat Program
In preparation for your visit, please check our hours of operation for any special updates.
MONDAY – SATURDAY CLINICS (BY APPOINTMENT ONLY)
In order to ensure the safety of our valued community cat caregivers and the cats in their care, the Monday – Saturday Community Cat Clinic is now accessible through an online sign-up process. This allows individuals who have trapped a cat as early as 10:00 PM the night before surgery to reserve 1 of the 10 daily spots safely (from their home computer or mobile device).
Estate Planning
Leave Behind A Lifeline
Estate or planned gifts are excellent opportunities to support the Sacramento SPCA during and following your lifetime, while meeting current income needs and providing for your heirs. You can also provide for the care of your pets in your estate plan.
Discovering Passion through Tragedy
It is such an honor to join the Sacramento SPCA family. It is an amazing organization that touches tens of thousands of lives—feline, canine, human and others—every year. In the coming months, I will be working hard to learn more about the organization and the people who make it so successful—the staff, the volunteers and you, our wonderful supporters and advocates.
Foster Animals
Please note, these animals are currently in foster homes and not at the shelter. Please contact dogfosterrescue@sspca.org or catfosterrescue@sspca.org if you would like to meet one of these faces!
