The Sacramento SPCA has been selected to be one of the partnering charitable organizations for the 2022 CA International Marathon! We are excited to team up with runners and animal lovers alike to support the marathon and to help the thousands of animals that are entrusted in our care every year. By purchasing your marathon ticket through the SSPCA, your registration fee will go directly back to the shelter.

Have you found a stray animal and aren’t sure what to do? Here are a few tips on how you can best help a lost animal this July 4th Holiday.
Most of the time, lost animals can be easily reunited with their family by staying near where they were found. That leaves the shelter with room to say yes to animals who urgently need our help – those who are sick or injured.

As a participant in the group, I will respect the confidentiality of all information shared by other members. I also expect that what I discuss will be held in strict confidence by the facilitator(s) and other participants.
