We must decrease the number of unwanted animals that enter our public shelter, and get more animals out of shelters and into homes. That is why the Sacramento SPCA devotes significant resources to addressing animal overpopulation through our spay and neuter program.

Sunday Feral and Community Cat Clinic Sponsorship
The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) estimates that there are tens of millions of community cats roaming throughout the country. Our region is home to a countless number of these cats. Community cats are cats that are born and raised in the wild or have been abandoned or lost and turned to wild ways to survive. Community cats typically live in a colony which occupies a specific territory where food and shelter can be found.

I have a question about a donation I already made. Who can I call? Please call the Development Department at 916-504-2804.
Do I get a tax-deductible receipt for my donation? Yes, you will receive an acknowledgement letter within one week of making your donations. If you make an online donation, you will automatically get an emailed receipt, as well as an acknowledgement letter in the mail.

Estate or planned gifts are excellent opportunities to support the Sacramento SPCA during and following your lifetime, while meeting current income needs and providing for your heirs. You can also provide for the care of your pets in your estate plan.

Dedicate a Brick
The Sacramento SPCA invites you to support our animals by purchasing a commemorative brick. When you designate a brick for our Adoption Center walkway, you create a timeless tribute. Your purchase of a brick not only creates a loving and thoughtful gift or memorial, but confirms your contribution to helping a homeless animal find a new home.
