Licensing
Licensing options at the Sacramento SPCA:
Residents of Rancho Cordova — Pet licenses can be provided for those seeking a first-time or renewal license. Payment can be made by cash, credit card or money order.
Owners from all locations must provide a copy of their pet’s current rabies certificate (veterinary record forms are not applicable) and, if applicable, a spay/neuter certificate. Licensing options and fees for your jurisdiction:

Post-operative care instructions
If there is an emergency after hours (between 5:30 p.m. and 8 a.m.), please contact your local emergency veterinary clinic.
1. Keep your pet quiet and indoors. No running, jumping, playing, swimming, or other strenuous activity for seven to 10 days. Inside they’ll be able to stay clean, dry, and warm. No baths during this recovery period.When dogs need to go outside, walk them on leash.
