Jingle Bell Pup Crawl
Truitt Bark Park, December 8th

Thanks for grabbing your pup and holiday spirit for the Sacramento SPCA’s 2nd Annual Jingle Bell Pup Crawl on Saturday, December 8!  We had a fantastic time enjoying drink/ food specials, photos with Santa Paws, and holiday activity stations at each Pup Crawl stop.

Free Pet Adoption Event
Taylor Morrison "home for the holidays" adoption sponsorship

Taylor Morrison Homes has teamed up with the Sacramento SPCA to generously cover the adoption fees for all pets offer from December 12th – 19th, which also covers the pet’s spay/neuter, vaccinations, flea prevention, microchip, pet food starter kit and veterinary exam.   

Taylor Morrison staff and “Santa Claws” will be making a special appearance at the shelter on Saturday, December 15th – all pet owners are encouraged to bring their animals to pose for a picture with Santa on Taylor Morrison’s Giant 8’ X 8’ Dog Bed.

Free adoptions Nov 7th - 10th

Celebrating our Veteran’s & Active Duty Military

THANK YOU for giving more to our Country! 
In honor of those who are currently serving or have served in the military, the Sacramento SPCA is waiving the pet adoption fee for Veterans and Active Duty Military from November 7 – 10.

This offer is valid for all pets over the age of 7 months with proof of military service.

It’s one of our most popular Yappy Hours of the year: HOWL-o-Ween at Fountainhead Brewing Company!

Join us on October 18th from 6-8pm! Not only will $1 from every pint benefit the Sacramento SPCA, but we are bringing back the Costume Contest! Prizes will be awarded for:

  3. Best Human & Dog Combination Costume

Adoptable dogs will also be strutting their stuff in their best/most hilarious costumes!
