Folsom Community Service Day
Sept 17 - Pet Supply Drive
Community Service Day—Folsom’s largest day of volunteerism— returns Saturday, September 17.
This major citywide event mobilizes thousands of volunteers of all ages and interests to complete projects throughout Folsom that make a positive, lasting impact.
We need your help! Donate pet supplies and help animals in our community. A drive-thru donation drive will be held at Lakeside Church, located at 745 Oak Avenue Parkway, from 7a.m.to Noon.

Join us live September 1st, 2022 @ 7 pm for a night of fun. Hosted by the fabulous DoMe Moore at Mango’s on K street! This month’s event proceeds will benefit the Sacramento SPCA.

Grey Muzzle Organization Grant Award
The Sacramento SPCA is pleased to announce that we have received another grant from the Grey Muzzle Organization in support of our Pawspice program for the next year! This program covers the cost of palliative care for animals like Gina who have a terminal diagnosis but good quality of life.
Burger Patch Match
Month of July!
The Sacramento SPCA is teaming up with Burger Patch for the entire month of July with a ‘Round Up’ Campaign to benefit the animals in our care.
Simply purchase any items* at one of the four Burger Patch locations in Sacramento/Davis (Land Park, Midtown, East Sacramento and Davis) and ’round up’ your total to help save lives. Burger Patch is 100% vegan, delicious and is giving back to animals in-need all month!

Dog Days of Summer

Curtis Park Dog Days of Summer presented by Track 7 Brewery!
This event will feature a ‘bark market’ with local pet item vendors, a doggie splash area, doggie/owner fashion show MC’d by DJ Anthony Romero, pup cups, a pet photographer and more!

Have you found a stray animal and aren’t sure what to do? Here are a few tips on how you can best help a lost animal this July 4th Holiday.
Most of the time, lost animals can be easily reunited with their family by staying near where they were found. That leaves the shelter with room to say yes to animals who urgently need our help – those who are sick or injured.
