Bequests
One way to give is with a bequest. Your will or trust can designate that a specific amount be transferred as a gift to the Sacramento SPCA. Such a gift can take the form of cash, stocks, bonds, real estate, or any type of asset. You may also give a percentage of your estate. Our program begins with a new volunteer orientation — an informative introduction held once a month to introduce you to the Sacramento SPCA and the opportunities we have available.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age. We do offer youth group activities and community service projects that can be done from home. Please note that these student community service opportunities do not include working directly with the animals due to the extensive training required. We do welcome you to continue once your project is completed and become a regular volunteer.
